This practice allows you to slow down, relax, and turn inward. The benefits of Yin are better sleep, reduced stress, increased flexibility, and even aids in weight loss!
In Yin yoga, the poses are held typically three to five minutes or longer to target the connective tissue rather than focusing on the muscles. This releasing action can bring up deep emotions stored in the body benefiting you physically as well as mentally and emotionally.
Whether it is your first class or you are an experience yogi, this is the class to take if you are trying to build strength, improve your balance, and increase flexibility. This class emphasizes linking breath to movement, while relieving tension in the body. This class specifically aids in weight loss as well! ALL levels are welcome! This class allows you to master the basic poses before moving on to more complex movements.

What do I need?
1. a yoga mat
2. one or two yoga blocks
5. flexible clothing and water
ALL equipment available to borrow or purchase if necessary
